Getting a Laser Treatment
We work with the Aerolase Neo Elite Laser (Nd: YAG 1064 nm wavelength) a non-ablative laser that reaches the dermis in treating skin concerns. The Neo Elite can deliver energy into multiple chromophores (hemoglobin, melanin, and water), enabling a wide range of treatment options.
Treatment also involves minimal discomfort and is uniquely safe for all skin types and skin tones. The pulse of the laser uses a 650-millisecond technology that keeps the energy absorbed in the skin under thermal reduction time, therefore avoiding skin wounding or other adverse reactions.

Common questions
- 1 day prior to your appointment we recommend discontinuing the use of retinol.
- 24 hours before and after treatment, avoid hot saunas, exercise or excessive heat.
- It is not necessary to come with cleansed skin. We will cleanse the treatment area prior.
There is no downtime for our laser treatments. It is most important to wear sunscreen and avoid direct sun exposure.
We recommend a minimum of 4-6 treatments to gain clearance of acne, redness and hyperpigmentation.
We use the Aerolase Neo Elite laser.
Those that are pregnant, going through treatments for cancer and other diseases, open wounds or lesions in the treatment area.
