Experiencing a Laser Hair Removal Treatment
Laser Hair Removal treatments can also be done year round on facial and body areas. The laser energy is attracted to the pigment of the hair, and more effectively treats the target, rather than spreading energy to the surrounding skin area and potentially resulting in skin wounding.
During your treatment your esthetician will review what will be treated and will talk you through the expected feel and experience with the laser.

In order for the esthetician to be able to perform the service you will need to shave the area to be treated 2 days prior to your appointment.
It is less effective to treat long hairs, but the hair must be visible for the esthetician to treat.
If we are treating an area on your face we also ask that you:
- 1 day prior to your appointment we recommend discontinuing the use of retinol.
- 24 hours before and after treatment, avoid hot saunas, exercise or excessive heat.
Post-treatment we recommend to avoid hot saunas, exercise or excessive heat for 24 hours. Avoid compression clothing in treated area for 24 hrs.
Depending on the area that is being treated, you can expect significant clearance of the hair in a package series. It is not uncommon for a client to need a couple additional treatments to achieve full clearance of the area.
The laser does not effectively treat “peach fuzz” or very fine hair.
No hair removal service is considered permanent as other factors can affect new growth. The laser energy affects the follicle of the hair, stopping regrowth. However, hormonal changes and chronic hormonal conditions can promote new hair growth.
For best results, it is recommended that appointments be spaced out by 4 weeks.
Those that are pregnant, going through treatments for cancer and other diseases, open wounds or lesions in the treatment area.
